Beautiful day today after a violent windstorm last night that landed a huge branch off a tree in the forest in our backyard. Fortunately, the damage was minimal. The pictures above show you what it has been like in this part of the country for the last month or so. We are almost ready to go, leaving early Wednesday to catch a ferry from Victoria to Port Angeles.
